Rio Grande Theatre Support
Rio Grande Theatre Endowment
As a means of generating operating funds in addition to those monies the RGT accumulates through its programs and events, DAAC created the Rio Grande Theatre Permanent Endowment. The initial goal for this fund is $800,000. Endowment giving is the perfect way to have your gift last a lifetime, since the initial gift is invested and earnings from that gift are used to fund the Theatre operations. Your gift will fund the Theatre for many years to come.
Gifts to the permanent endowment fund can be made in any amount through cash donations, a bequest in your will, gifts of life insurance, or donations of stocks and bonds or real estate. All gifts to the endowment fund will be appropriately recognized.
Donors are invited to “Sponsor a Seat” in the Theatre with their names being placed on a seat back to commemorate their contribution. Individual seats are $2,000 each, sections of three are $5,000, and sections of four or more are $1,200 per seat, with funds going towards the permanent endowment goal.
Contact the DAAC office at 505-523-6403 and a member of the Endowment Committee will contact you with more information.
Rio Grande Theatre Annual Operational Support
Annual financial gifts to the Theatre help to offset the operational costs of the Theatre and programming provided free to the community. Gifts may be made in any amount. Multi-year permanent naming opportunities are also available beginning at $25,000.
