Every Other Tuesday

Since April 2006, the Doña Ana Arts Council has offered a free venue for local performers to showcase their talents.  The Every Other Tuesday programs are free to the public and are, quite literally, every other Tuesday at 5:30 pm.  The performers are able to sell recordings and other show-related merchandise and promote their upcoming performances at other venues.  It is possible for any organization in the community that wishes to perform on the stage of the Rio Grande to be scheduled at the theatre.

A wide variety of entertainment is presented – music from classical to jazz, from folk to the blues, from country western to chorales to mariachi, and from drama to musical theater – all intended to give locals a chance to enhance their performance skills and “strut their stuff” for the public to enjoy.
